The owners and worker of this motel are the most hospitable, generous, kind, and caring individuals to be found. They go beyond to ensure the safety and comfort of their guests, even graciously aiding me in recovering my car that hydroplaned off the road during a snowstorm! My husband, son and I love coming to Rising Star to visit my Grandparents farm. Hunten Lodge is the perfect little stay for us when we are in visiting! Quaint and Cozy! We had to cancel last minute this last weekend and the owners were so nice and understanding. Looking forward to our next stay!
The owners were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms are very clean and very comfortable! It’s also pet friendly! We highly recommend this place!
Staying here with my son, it is very quiet and clean. I love the beds, the sheets, the bedding, all very very nice and soo comfortable. I have slept great. Owner came & checked on us, made sure we had everything we needed. I appreciate the kindness given to us.
Got stuck on my property and buried the truck at 2am. No power due to the may storms. Was able to call late and get a room for the evening so I didn’t melt in the June heat. Appreciate the owner for helping me out!
Andi and David are awesome ppl. The lodge is extremely cozy and quiet. Had an awesome stay there. As for the lady who claims they wouldnt rent her a room cause her dog, i dont believe it cause there was a couple there that had a dog while we were there. They are amazing ppl in my hometown and i will always stay there when in town.
This family owned and operated Lodge was the most incredible shelter for my daughter in her time of need! They were incredibly kind to her, hosting her in the middle of the night! Truly God sent. Besides being so warm and caring, my daughter reported the room was so clean and comfy. She said she slept wonderfully in this quiet Inn.
